They still invite Santa Claus!

On the Redmond Lights walk...no snow!

The Town of Redmond puts on a great community event every Christmas Season with local businesses, bands and even Santa Claus making a showing.  I know, hard to believe that they even let Santa show up in this day of PC-ness!  The kids and I ventured down to the municipal campus to witness the Christmas Tree lighting.  Last year it was much colder, we got there early and by the time the Tree was lit, the kids were done!  This year, we decided to avoid the pain and make it down for the lighting without spending 3 hours out in the elements. 

So we missed the Tree Lighting.  But we did get to take a quick walk down the Sammamish River Trail for the Redmond Lights Walk.  There were some local musicians on the trail, which was lit with the little bag lanterns - all very cute.  The kids enjoyed it, but spent a lot of time looking for friends and complaining.  I liked it!
